This Privacy Policy describes how the A1 Schedule mobile application (“App”) collects, uses, and shares information.
A1 Schedule is a business-to-business (B2B) field service management platform used by service companies and their employees (technicians).
Who is the data controller?
In most cases, the service company that uses A1 Schedule is responsible for the customer and job data entered into the platform.
If you have questions about how your employer uses the system, please contact your company administrator.
Information we collect
- Account information: login credentials and basic profile details provided by your company administrator.
- Job and customer information: job details, addresses, notes, invoices/estimates, and related records entered by your company.
- Photos and files you provide: photos taken or selected for a job (for documentation and service verification).
- Digital signatures: customer signatures captured in the App to confirm work completion.
- Location information (when permitted): current location to support mapping, routing, and navigation to job sites.
- Device and app data: device identifiers such as push notification tokens (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging token), app version, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- Payments: if enabled by your company, the App may facilitate payments through Stripe for physical services. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by A1 Schedule.
How we use information
- To authenticate users and provide access to the App and web platform.
- To manage schedules, jobs, work orders, invoices/estimates, and job history.
- To enable navigation and routing to service locations (with location permission).
- To upload and sync photos, signatures, and job documentation.
- To send operational notifications (e.g., job updates) via push notifications.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot issues.
Tracking and advertising
A1 Schedule does not use data collected in the App for advertising or cross-app tracking.
We do not sell personal information.
Sharing of information
We may share information in the following limited cases:
- With your company: job, customer, and technician data is shared with your company’s administrators and systems as part of providing the service.
- Service providers: hosting, push notifications (Firebase), mapping (Google), and payment processing (Stripe), only as needed to provide the App’s functionality.
- Legal: if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
Data retention
Data is retained to support business operations, recordkeeping, and service history. User accounts are typically managed by your company administrator.
Accounts may be deactivated when employment ends, but records may remain available for historical job access.
Your choices
- Location permission: you can allow or deny location access in iOS Settings. Some mapping features may not work without it.
- Notifications: you can enable or disable push notifications in iOS Settings.
- Access and correction: contact your company administrator to request access to or correction of company-managed data.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
